Trygve Reenskaug

Trygve Reenskaug is professor II emeritus of informatics at the University of Oslo. He retired in 1997 from the Taskon software company. His retirement project is a new programming paradigm that separates explicit code for system behavior from the code for system state.

Dominick Baier

Damian Edwards

Damian Edwards is a Program Manager at Microsoft on the ASP.NET team where he works on Web Forms and Microsoft’s work with jQuery, and a former Microsoft MVP in ASP.NET.

Esther Derby

Esther Derby is well known for her work in helping teams grow to new levels of productivity. She helps teams and organizations make the transition to Scrum, and coaches technical people who are making the transition to management.

Lea Verou

Paolo Salvatori is a Senior Program Manager of the Business Platform Division Customer Advisory Team, formerly known as BizTalk Customer Advisory Team. He has been working in Microsoft since 1997 and has spent most of his time in the field as an MCS developer and solution architect.

Phil Haack

Phil Haack (yes, it's pronounced "hack") works at GitHub finding ways to make it better for .NET and Windows developers everywhere. Prior to GitHub, he was a senior Program Manager at Microsoft responsible for shipping ASP.NET MVC, NuGet, among other projects.

Tom Ball

Thomas Ball is Principal Researcher and Research Manager at Microsoft Research in the Research in Software Engineering area. Tom received a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1993, was with Bell Labs from 1993–1999, and has been at Microsoft Research since 1999.

Krzysztof Kozmic

Bjørn Einar Bjartnes

Bjørn Einar used to work in the oil fields and on offshore rigs all over the world, but then he took an arrow in the knee. Now he's a developer at Computas. He holds a Master of Science in Control Engineering from NTNU.

Bodil Stokke

Bodil has been a web developer since before the web was cool, and has shepherded many big projects built on web technologies, among them two generations of web map applications for Eniro. She currently works as a Java developer for Steria, honing her combat skills on enterprise developers reluctant to adopt shiny Future Tech such as Git, Clojure and Node.JS.

I'm a Senior Consultant at Sela, with over 14 years of industry experience as a developer, team leader, R&D manager and architect in various Microsoft environments. I am experienced in developing large scale, distributed and data–centric systems. Currently I am a part of a team creating Windows Azure Platform Training Kit for Microsoft DPE focusing on Windows Azure HPC Scheduler and Hadoop.

Kari-Amelie Fiva Aasheim

Over the years Kari Amelie Fiva Aasheim has worked as a project manager and consultant with a variety of international teams on how to improve efficiency and achieve shorter time to market through intercultural communication strategies.

Stefan Daugaard Poulsen

Ralph Squillace

Ralph Squillace is a senior programmer and writer on the Content and Customer Experience team at Microsoft, currently responsible for cloud application patterns in Windows Azure, among other things. When he was young, he did his graduate work in history at the University of California, Berkeley. Yes, he is aware that he is supposed to be an historian; you don't need to tell him.
